About Karina Olliver, Cat Behaviour Consultant

Where Passion Meets Purr-pose

I’m Karina, the cat behaviour consultant behind Whisker Woes. I help cat owners understand why their cat is behaving the way they are, then build a gentle, science-based plan using positive reinforcement. My goal is simple: to help cats stay in the homes they love and out of shelters.

Feline Behaviour Consultant

Feline Behavior Science and Technology Diploma (FBST), Companion Animal Sciences Institute (CASI)
Supporting Member, International Association of Animal Behavior Consultants (IAABC)

I earned my diploma through the Companion Animal Sciences Institute, a one-year, approximately 1,000-hour professional program in the natural science of behavior.

I grew up surrounded by animals, and my path began with horse behaviour before I found my true passion in cats. When I’m not helping cats thrive, I enjoy reading, visiting the Toronto Zoo, and sharing my home with my own cats.
